Let's Go Back...

In 2020, our founder searched for a philanthropic cause to give back to while a student at Penn State University. When looking at statistics for trafficking and abuse in the United States, they realized that many were afraid to approach the taboo topic.

Kicking off their first fundraiser, they sold homemade soy wax candles with thank you cards that stated 'thank you for lighting the way against trafficking & abuse. All candles were hand-poured and shipping out of central Illinois where it still operates to this day.

A name was finally put to the movement in 2023Over time, our donors, otherwise also known as Illuminators, have immersed themselves in giving back to the cause, contributing thousands of dollars.

How It Works...

Throughout the year, Illuminators have the opportunity to submit a trafficking & abuse shelter in their area that they would like our non-profit to sponsor. Each June, the annual Project will be announced at the official in-person kickoff event.

Every November, our homemade soy wax candle shop open's online and fundraising month commences. To this day, every single candle is handmade. Illuminators race to secure donations to help us hit our annual goal. Proceeds go toward requested shelter supply wish list items from shampoo to bookbags to bus tickets or even holiday gifts. The weekend after Giving Tuesday, everyone is invited to shop and help hand deliver our Project donation to the shelter.
